The Qubit Readout Module (QRM) is specifically engineered for precise readout pulse generation and signal acquisition in the baseband regime from DC to 400 MHz. By replacing the roles of conventional pulse generators, digitizers, and readout analyzers, the QRM combines measurement workflows within one module.
Readout pulses are generated on the fly with real‑time parametrization, which integrates waveform playback, gain and offset control, NCO‑based modulation, and optional mixer‑correction. Incoming signals are processed on the module through a flexible acquisition path that supports scope‑mode capture, TTL‑based trigger counting, and full complex demodulation with integration, weighting, rotation, and thresholding. This architecture enables accurate envelope extraction for dispersive readout, independent of whether the experiment monitors transmitted or reflected signals. Waveform memories, integration weights, and demodulation parameters can be uploaded to tailor the readout chain to device‑specific conditions, suppress crosstalk, and maintain fidelity under dynamic operating regimes. With capacity for up to 3 million IQ shots per module, the QRM provides a unified, high‑performance platform for scalable qubit measurement.
