What is your educational background?

I have a bachelor in Computer Engineering and a Masters in Embedded Systems.

What do you do at Qblox?

Currently I work in research and development (R&D) as part of the embedded software team (ESE team).

Describe a typical day at Qblox

My typical day starts with the daily standup together with the ESE team and our colleagues from the FPGA team.

After that it's a typical developer day, coding, testing and lots of interactions with the Electrical Engineering team and FPGA team.

As part of the embedded software engineering team, how do you interact with other teams and other departments? 

When developing complex products, collaboration is a key component. In the ESE we have close collaboration with the FPGA and electronic engineering team.

The collaboration starts in the daily standup, during development and testing where we can just sit together and handle the issues.

What do you like most about your role?

The most exciting part is being able to work with very passionate professionals and work with cutting-edge technology.

How did you come to join Qblox?

I was looking for new challenges, and the possibility of being part of a team that can shape the future of the industry.

What’s one thing you would like a new joiner to know about working at Qblox? 

Qblox is a very diverse, inclusive and high tech company with a lot of challenges.

In your own words, what is it like working at Qblox?

It’s a daily challenge and very rewarding because I have the opportunity to work with very smart people.
